The type of the Realm file was invalid

#1

I’ve noticed that my iOS app stopped syncing to Realm. When I took a look at the logs in Realm Studio, I see the following errors:

HTTP response: 1c8b3326-3e6f-49a4-b822-f05463abcaef {"type":"https://realm.io/docs/object-server/problems/invalid-realm-type","title":"The type of the Realm file was invalid.","status":400,"code":619}

I couldn’t find any information in the documentation on what this error means or how to resolve it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m not sure my problem is quite the same since I have never tried to do partial synchronization of my realm. This is how I’m setting up my synced realm:

        let syncConfiguration = SyncConfiguration(user: SyncUser.current!, realmURL: Constants.Realm.REALM_URL)
        let config = Realm.Configuration(syncConfiguration: syncConfiguration)
        let realm = try! Realm(configuration: config)
        self.defaultRealm = realm

        SyncManager.shared.errorHandler = { error, session in
            let syncError = error as! SyncError
            log.error(syncError.localizedDescription)
        }

It looks like this error is preventing my client from syncing any changes to the backend. Any recommendations on what to do to resolve the error?
