Setup AWS for Realm Object Server

#1

Just thought I would try Realm after using Firebase.
It took me less than a couple of hours to set up and test a sample program using RealmSwift.Very impressed love the Object based system. Persistence taken care of

However when I tried to add sync using AWS I immediately got lost.

Can anyone point me to some “Step by step” instructions or video on how to set up AWS for Realm Object Server

Thank in Advance
John

Hello john,

Glad to hear you are happy with Realm!

To get up and running with the Realm Object Server, you can create an EC2 instance on AWS based on one of the AMIs that we publish. The images already include installations of the Realm Object Server. The AMI IDs are listed here in our documentation: https://realm.io/docs/get-started/installation/deployment/

The AWS console can be a little daunting, so if you have any further questions on how to get up and running, please don’t hesitate to get back in touch.
