Firebase Cloud Functions and Realm Cloud

#1

Hello,

I’m currently using Firebase for authentication and generating JWT token for the client to log in to Realm Cloud. I also need to update synced realms from the backend. Is this possible to do using Firebase Cloud Functions instead of creating a separate node.js backend just for managing Realms? I know Cloud Functions has read-only filesystem except for the /tmp directory and logging in using Realm.Sync.User.login() creates some files on disc. Maybe there is a way to configure Realm to use /tmp directory?

Thanks

You can access (read and write) your synced realm using GraphQL. I’m currently using an AWS Lambda Function to update data on a synced realm periodically; I guess a Firebase cloud function would be something similar.

Check https://docs.realm.io/platform/graphql-web-access

Thanks @Diogo. Looks like this is exactly what I want.
