ERROR: Connection[1]: Session[1]: Bad sync progress received (3)

I am getting following error when trying to sync realm (login is successful). It was working fine and this error started about 1-2 hours prior.

ERROR: Connection[1]: Session[1]: Bad sync progress received (3)

I searched all around but didn’t find any solutions. can someone please help?

Realm.Sync.User.login(https://${SERVER}, USERNAME, PASSWORD) .then(user => { Realm.open({ sync: { url:realms://${SERVER}/${REALM}, user: user }, //schema: [productSchema], }) }) .then(realm => { if(typeof(realm) == 'undefined'){ reject('Error connecting to Realm') return } realmCONN = realm; debug('END - Realm Login'); resolve(realm); })

@jrattanpal What version of ROS and realm-js are you using? Was this app offline for a long time before syncing with ROS?

#3

@ianward ,

I was using realm Cloud so no local service. I have latest version of Realm Studio which I use to check objects (not sure if that causes it).

This has happened twice now (second just now). In both days, it was working one day and then stopped next day (When I got back to work). I didn’t do anything different, just run the same node.js code that I did previous day

So I deleted my instance and created new one. That worked. But now it’s happening to the second one too. I can delete it again but that doesn’t seem like a solution.

Thanks

Just for test, I created a new user and that fixed the issue. I am not sure why old user account caused it as it was working. Is it related to some limit?

Error was

Connection[1]: Connected to endpoint ‘54.148.***.***:443’ (from ‘10.3.18.195:54421’)
ERROR: Connection[1]: Session[1]: Bad sync progress received (3)

I am having this issue also.

I am connecting to a cloud server via NodeJS. I have two Node apps - one for system admins to edit data, one for regular users to view data. The first one is fine but the second one fails (after working yesterday). They’re currently being tested with the same credentials.

Can you open a ticket at support.realm.io ? If you can reproduce we can definitely fix it.

#7

I just opened ticket #828

And I opened ticket#837

I have started having this issue today after installing latest realm package (2.20.1)

Connection[1]: Connected to endpoint '52.26.45.9:443' (from '10.56.17.59:58549')
ERROR: Connection[1]: Session[1]: Bad sync progress received (3)
Connection[1]: Connection closed due to error

Downgrading to early packages has not solved this issue.
